Hey there all you crazy folks actually planning to visit PD13 this year.

Friday the 13th in Port Dover

Here's my plan so far -- going to head out of London some time around 9am and head to PD - that should get me there just before noon (if traffic is as I suspect it will be). Hope to meet up with the other XJ'ers -- is there still a Noon meeting planned at Timmies?

So - what's the plans of others?

I plan on leaving at 6:00 am, I want to get a good spot to park. I'm 30 minutes away. Be sure to get counted when you arrive, they are trying to set a record for most bikes at one spot. I will be at Timms at high noon. Altus how will I spot you there, are you going to have you XJ Bikes shirt on this year?

    Thank you =)

Test is a Peice of cake. Just remember to relax and take your time. Went up to Clinton to do it. Super nice up there. The M2 exit will be joke in when it's time to do that. Ear peice, they follow you aroundin a car and tell you to turn here and there and stop here and go there. So that will be easy.

As for tomorrow, Bro and I are head'n out around 7ish, stop'n at the husky I believe for a bite before head'n on in.

OMg'd, Just got back ... WOW!!!!!!! it was just a constant Sea of Bikes non Freak'n STop!!!!!! mind blowing... Didn't see any XJ shirts but did see 1100 parked out front of timmies that gave me some good turning signal mod idea =) Head'n back shortly for a couple more hours.. Last time I saw the Bike count board it was @ 10000 just shortly before 10am. If you can make it out there, do it, you will not be dissappointed at all = ) ) )

There's a bike count board? All the years I've been going and never seen one....

That 1100 you saw outside Timmies was an XS1100 - so not quite the same animal - close cousins though :)

I was there at Timmies at noon - noon:30 --- Lostboy found me wearing my XJOG shirt, and we found a few others from the XJ email list as well.

Weather turned out to be fantastic - HOT! Even saw my first young lady taking advantage of her constitutional right to go topless in public! MMMM mmm. Funny thing was, people around weren't even noticing her...

I didn't get to get a Guiness record tag - seems they ran out of tags by 2pm, and with walking around with the guys, I forgot until after that *doh*

Went around the timmies a few times, never seen the logo =(. Ooo did see a maxim, (midnight special I think?) parked in the gas station as well.

The board was just left of floating (restuarant/ferry thingy). if you managed/nudged your way through the crowd, you would have seen it. Not large at all. Have pic of it so will upload it as soon as I can, Also got a shot up that road of the Mass of people going up the one hill.

I never made it into Dover, but among the hundreds of bikes heading along the backroads to get back home, I saw a couple of bunches of XJ's... very distinctive (and familiar) exhaust tone that separates them from the HD's.

Hope everyone had a great time !
