Possible Maxim 750 to be parted, any intrest.

    I got a sticker today from a local shop, nice guy there. he had a virago and a maxim there and I asked what was up with those bikes because they don't seem to move. He said He wanted to scrap them but I offered to put them up here instead. the virago has no compression in one cylinder so he doesn't want to sell it. and the maxim is all there (Except the battery side cover of course) but it needs some carb work, he is more of a inspection/wheels/oil change guy and doesn't even touch engine stuff, so I think the carbs may be good just need some cleaning. I was just checking the waters to see if there would be any interest on these parts.if so just leave a short message and I will try and post up this stuff asap.

    What year model is the Maxim and what size is the tank? If it is bigger than the stock 2.5 gal, and if it will fit on the 650 frame, I might be interested. I want longer range.

    The guy who has this was on vacation so I am just getting back in touch with him. once I have confirmed it can be parted out I will list the price off all the parts. First ones to post request for items get first chance.

    The Maxim is not an X. the virago is a midnight version but the maxim is just a run of the mill normal maxim.

    Well since xy not needing a tank anymore I'd be interested in the XJ750 Maxim tank. Just as long as its not all rusted inside.
