    Hello all,

Im currently trying to make the old 82 Seca 550 as low to the handlebars as possible. The next object in my way is the giant gauge cluster. So I'm looking to part ways with it. That being said, I began looking for new gauges. I really want to convert both the Tach and Speedo to electronic (but keep an analog style gauge).
So far my search hasn't been going too well, unless I spend a decent amount of $ on them.

Anyone have any suggestions? Or want to talk me out of going from cable driven to electronic.

This is the closest gauge I found to what I want, but... its got a digital screen on the bottom, and I want the most old school look possible.

    Thanks for any help!

Be cautious of the Chinese made digital gauge , many read in KPH , not MPH and from my research the wiring diagram leaves a lot to be desired . Some posters have made them work , but can't say which brand was better or worse . One item you could explore is a motorcycle salvage may find a different model or brand and see if you could adapt the cluster to your bike .

Check out the selection at dime city cycles. I know the acewell gauges are pretty good and start at around $150 I believe. I went the ultra cheap route and took on this.

The wiring diagram instructions are a little hard to read but with having a basic understanding of electronics you can install it. Uses an electronic tach and Speedo sensor.
Note: some members have had issues with this unit, but mine has worked perfectly without any issues.

Wow that is the ultra cheap route. My goal is to have the gauges look as old fashioned as possible. No digital, definitely want analog. But I want them to be sensing from electronics. I love the looks of some on dime city, but they are all cable driven.
This is the only electronic unit that is close to what I am looking for on DCC, but again, still has digital built into it.
