I am impressed enough with some cheap gear I think I will give them some free advertising.
I layer my bike down about five this morning after hitting some black ice coming home from work. I was sliding on my hip holding the bike in the air. And I had to use daylight this afternoon to find the really really faint scuff marks on my gear. I was wearing xellement, a cheap brand and it did good. I paid less than 200 for pants and jacket both armored and thought they would just be short term things. I feel its worth the money for them and I know if I had been wearing leather I would be replacing it. There is some free advertising since I feel they did really well by me for the price.

Always a smart choice to ride with full gear!

I'm not that smart, I mostly ride with a full-face helmet armored boots, armored gloves armored mesh jacket but regular jeans on the bottom, doh!

I have mesh pants but I don't find them comfortable. I should shop for some that fit better.

Good to hear that you're okay. If you have a lead-acid battery, check things over. It probably leaked. Mine did, but the bike was upside-down.
