Preferrred aluminum polish?

    Ok, question for the collective wisdom.....what is your preferred aluminum polish? I was looking on the web and there's a ton of them out there. What are your recommendations?

    the aluma kleen line works very well and with almost no effort. THey have degreasers, aluminum cleaner, and then the polish I use it on my snowmobile to get and keep things nice and shiney.

    Autosol is pretty good, but this year I tried Eagle 1's Nano polish with very good results

    Mothers works well. It's good on chrome and they have a plastic polish too.

    Though I have yet to buy a can, my friend here uses Mequires(sp?) Aluminum polish(not the car wax one..)
    I've seen his work, and I have to to tell you it @%^ incredible.
    I've seen be4 & afters that are very impressive.
    He does a series of sandpapering, then finishes with the paste...

    on my (I'm the) original owner Norton Commando: Solvol (Autosol) exclusively. On the Yammie I'm resurrecting: I use a 4-step process to bring back really badly stained bits: Scotchbrite pad (carefully, not too deep all at once,) followed by Solvol then Mothers. (Mothers a tad finer than Solvol.) Then follow up with Nev-r-dull wadding polish to remove all residue from the Solvol/Mothers polishing. Solvol or Mothers to maintain after that. Omit the scotchbrite if not too badly stained and/or the stupid Jap OE lacquer (or whatever it is) over coat is long gone...
