    Hi again!

I bought a pair of Progressive Springs (11-1101) and I went to install them... I slid in the Spring and the included spacer and it sits exactly where the top cap would end. So it would have a "0" (or very little) preload. In a way... it fits perfectly under the cap... However I read there is suppose to be a 1" preload from what I have read. Should I be happy with it the way it is, or get a PVC piping that is 1" longer?

    Thanks!

The PCV tubing that came with the springs were 2". I went to Home Depot and added a inch. Now the spring and adapter go up to the top of the fork tube for a 3/4" to 1" preload.

I guess we'll see how that works?!

There isn't a set figure for preload, you preload them by what you need to get the correct sag figure

Although it might not work with as well with progressive as they seem to be a one size fits all and all the top stuff is single rate
