I actually went and took a look at it. It is pretty far gone. Pipes are rusted/bent/holey. tires are flat/badly cracked. fairing and bags are loose/cracked/no windshield, seatcover and foam are rotten,plastic seat pan was useable, wiring is hard and brittle/plugins are chalky. All the rubber parts were done. engine turned over. tank had been creamed already. He was willing to sell for $200.00 I did not buy it. Nice old guy, just stopped using it, stored it, last used in 1998.

 

that's not a "project" it's parts.

offer him a 100$ and between the carbs, tci you'll make back what you spent and have a spare engine, granted it blows good numbers.

 

It's no longer a "Midnight" but a hung-over Monday morning, late for work . . .
