Last night I saw a show by a blues guy named Dave Hole. He is from Australia. I was completely blown away! I was wondering if any one of the Australian xjer's were formiliar with him. Is he a big star in Australia? He should be a big star everywhere.

No Robby, Can't say I've heard of him and I'm a bit of a bues fan myself. However, I'm not really located in an area reknowned for it's music industry although Perth has had a few big names come out of it. Eg, ACDC' Bon Scott, Jimmy Barnes, Rolf Harris. lol

Must keep an eye open for it though.

One of the hardest blues singers to get over here is one I saw on cable once. Absolutely loved his music and had to download most of his stuff off the net. The sounds of John Popper(Blues Traveller) and that Harmonica is awesome.

Yea, he still runs around. Bit of a has been though. Rodney Rude and Col Elliot are more of the same but their rude crude humour doesn't really get the audiences any more. Still a good listen when in a reminiscent mood.

Can anyone think who the old boy with the 12 string was, one of his recordings was San Fransico Bay, been driving me mad for weeks trying to think of his name.
