    Hello,
    Ive lurked and scoured this forum for the past several years: directly benefiting from the good advice, and experience of you all. But today, I finally bit the bullet, and registered an account.

    I have a 1982 XJ650 (the 1250th one off the assembly line, judging from the VIN)
    I have owned, or been adjacent to the owner of this particular motorcycle for the past 20 years.
    Currently doing a complete rebuild of my bike, (about half way done with it) so that it can carry on through the next 35 years.

    I hope to share what I have and will learn, so that I can be helpful to you, as you have all been quite helpful to me.
