We don't get a lot of rain here but I ride year round.
Every year I have the same issue when it rains and I leave the bike outside in it.
It runs on a few cylinders until the water is gone and I'm good. Bit annoying though.
    Any tips?

You could try some dielectric grease around the rubber boots on the high tension leads and plug cap rubbers. Used to get that happening in Scotland plenty of wet weather here. Could see the sparks shorting onto the cylinder head.
