Look who's showing-off Mods. Mr. Kee Pitstock, himself.

I got-over my phobia about changing the appearance of an All-Original bike.

I hated the "You're on the Fuel tank; again", slide you forward -- like it or not, leather covered playground slide ... Yamaha called a seat and stuck on the Midnight Maxim for 1983.

    I popped-out the staples, pulled-off the cover and had a rainy-day slice-'n-dice festival.

    Serrated steak knife.
    Gin-soo style long knife.
    Angle grinder.

Here's what it looks like after the slide is removed and the front of the passenger hump gets sculpted to be a comfortable seat for "Big and Tall"

I'm getting "Buttons" to add to the personal-touch look. There's actually already places open where the strings get pulled through the seat frame.

This is as comfortable as I can make it without a back rest.

Looks good! Wish that I had the patience to do something like that! Maybe I can get my M-I-L involved with it.
