rear pinch bolt

    I noticed that on my '82 xj650 there is a bolt, spring washer and nut on the front fork (pinch bolt).

    On the right rear, however, the spring washer is under the bolt head and there is no nut. I checked the parts diagram.. no nut.

    Is this an error? Should there be a nut on the rear pinch bolt? I'm sure the bolt threads into the rear arm.. but...

    The bolt does thread into the swingarm so no nut is needed. This is also why the spring washer or lock washer is under the bolt head.
