rear tire size?

    What is the widest tire I can put on my xj550? My measurements say a 150-90-16 will fit.

    I would take great care in doing this. Remember that the tire will spread out and widen with load applied. So make certain you leave enough room so don't rub the swingarm. Other consideration is how well the tire fits the rim. You can end up with a tire that mounts but is unsafe at higher speeds and lateral loads.
