    Here is a simple question:

should there be a nut to secure the rear wheel axle linch bolt?

I just removed the rear wheel to have the tire changed and I noticed there isn't any nut on this bolt on my bike (Seca 900). I checked in the manual and didn't see any clear picture or drawing about that.

Medium strength Loctite won't come loose until you decide that it should come loose, and it prevents corrosion of the threads (so that it will come loose when you want it to).

A lot of times I fibd that the bolt had seized at some time and a po had drilled them out. For those, I just put an appropriate size bolt through and the put washer/lock washer/nut combo on. Works just as well.
