What is your fuel mileage and is it called kilometerage in other parts of the world? Broken brake shoe springs, improperly adjusted brake shoes, stuck calipers, un-tuned engine (that includes everything from the air filter to the valve adjustment) oh and a" large woman on back" for sure, bad wheel bearings, uncalibrated odometer, wrong size front tire/wheel, wrong speedometer

April 21, last thursday I filled up with 87 fuel at chevron for $4.21 a gallon.
I put 2.45 gallongs of gas for $10.34
-my millage reading 60 at this point

then strangely I had to fill up again on April 23, on the last saturday.
with 87 again and for $4.23 a gallon.
-my millage read 131 at this point

this easter Im at 154 miles and i belive half tanking it?
So Im sure my millage could be MUCH better, I do need a carb cleaning and oil change for sure...
those would drastically help my MPG right?

You've really given us nothing to go on.

What bike? Mileage varies; I generally get ~52mpg with the 550s.

Valve adjustment, float levels, carb sync needing to be done can and will affect fuel economy.

As well as everything listed above; low tire pressure, dragging brakes, etc., but those are relatively obvious.

It's a four-cylinder bike; so you've got four little gas consumers there all wanting to fight with each other until you get them all on the same page. If they're fighting and not cooperating, they use a lot more fuel.

One member noticed a mileage increase after losing the stock mufflers . . .which may have been plugged with rust and carbon.

I got 42 MPG driving reeeally fast (80-105) with my 750.
It gets 46 at exactly 60 MPH.

I've had problems with the fuel enrichment(Choke) not sealing. It has been the #1 reason on my bike when the mileage drops off. Black plugs is the first sign.
My XJ and XS 1100 both average 35 mpg, 45 on the highway.
