Is there anywhere to get these reasonably priced, ideally with hex head instead of Philips? I need to rebuild my starter but the screws are stripped and not re-usable. Seems insane they uses such a flimsy JIS Phillips head to hold it together. Best I have seen it's gonna run me $40 for two screws that are just as crappy as the old ones, is that my best option?

We ended up using and impact driver and managed to save the screws. Total success, cleaned and re-greased the gears, put in new brushes; it fired on first push of the button once reinstalled.

I have to say though getting everything to line up just right for reassembly, I found it very helpful there were two of us, that was the hardest part.
