Hey all just wanted to know what you folks thought. I just rebuilt my master cylinder on my bike I just put it on today and it doesn't work....I took the master off my quad and it works great. I don't believe I tore any gaskets but anything is possible. Does anyone know why this rebuild didn't work? Very curious about this

What do you mean doesn't work ? Does the lever just go back to the bars? Have you bled the system properly?

Bleeding is a tedious thing on these bikes. More than likely, you've still got air in the system. (Assuming you rebuilt it correctly with new parts?)

Mine had to be bled from the caliper-up. Open bleed screw ,slowly open each connection a little bit. Bleed to that point from caliper. After you bleed to top., re-bleed as usual. Top to bottom. Worked great for me. And it was a pain. That was the only way it worked for me. Note: make sure the little hole on top of master cylinder in clear. If not as you apply brakes they get tighter. It is how the caliper returns the fluid.

All I can say is I havent tried the full on bleeding system yet, but it does seem wierd to me that it isnt giving it any pressure at all....would it be acting like this if I put the one tapered seal on the wrong way and not letting any fliud go by? anyone have a pic on how it looks the right way? and yes the handle just goes back to the bars and after about 10 min of regular bleeding....still to the bars.

Assuming you got everything back in the right order, take the line off at the master and use your finger to cover the outlet. Try to build up pressure at the master using your finger as a valve. Make the necessary precautions to not have brake fluid spray all over the paint work.

Trick is to squeeze the lever with your finger off the outlet, cover the outlet and release the lever, repeat as needed. Your finger will stop the master from sucking air in the outlet when you release the lever.

If all goes well, you should get fluid moving. Don't let the resevoir go dry.

Since you rebuilt your master cylinder there in no fluid in there. No fluid means it will not work. You need to bleed the brake system before it will work. There are sever ways to do it, all will work. Search the site and you will find it.
