I had RUST inside of my tank, cleaned it out best I could get it used a 2 part product from Yamaha...didn't work followed directions no joy. My brother told me to try Redcoat , I'm sold you can use it even if there is some rust in tank . Cost was 32.00$ from Oreilly Auto parts they had to order it overnight had it in tank for 2 weeks now and 2 tanks of gas with no problems. Yes it looks like candy apple red but seems to be working as advertised .

Redkote is awesome its a easy to use and to me better that the por product.

I used it after i stripped the inside of a tank with an acid wash, rinse with gas and dried with acertone. Then i waited and hit it with redkote.

I'm impressed I used Kream before had good results, but a mess to use and tank had to be spotless, while Redcoat actually works better with light rust. My brother told me once you pour it into tank use a strainer and pour excess back into can ... So I have more if I need it !!! All I did was use a fan blowing in filler for a few days till the solvent smell was not strong and filled it up . Two Thumbs up for Redcoat.

I agree the only bad thing about it is if you get some on the tank itself, the red can stain. just gotta be careful.
