    Hello all

Got no replies to my first post on this topic

If anyone has dual horns on a 1985 XJ900 (not the supersport with belly fairing etc) but a black one like my avatar picture could they post a photo or decribe the bracket and where it mounts to....

I can't afford to pay $300 for the horn assembly and the bracket was missing on mine

    Also

A lot of parts from the RDLC series made it onto the XJ900's

The attached photo is the rd350 horn bracket - CAN ANYONE compare it to their 1985 xj9 and let me know if it is the same

by the way the 4 way wiring and plug for the horns on my XJ9 are the same as the RD series - just picked it up for $10

    Hi DAGGAGH

My XJ is different from the machine you have so I don't know unfortunately. I just checked a loom for the horn for sale on E Bay off the Rd models I will get one. There must be a lot of parts common to many Yamaha machines. Someone of the forum will know the answer to your question I am sure.

We are coming into swap meeting season. I saw two of these 900s at a swap meet a few weeks ago. I'll keep my eye open for you.
