Hi guys and the all too rare girls I've been searching with all the usual variations on keywords and I just can't find what I'm after.
Hoping you can help, there was a thread/post by Bigfitz from memory about recommissioning/refurbishing your bike correctly from the very beginning.
Can anyone point me in it's general direction?
    Thanks in advance.

Search for posts by Fitz. I know which one you mean though, was a couple years ago, in the spring when a million new members were looking for quick fixes. Probably be in Feb/March from 2014 or 2013.

The SRXY beast is treating me very well, coz i did refurbish/ recommission my bike right from the start before taking it out of the shed onto the road. Done 6000 klms so far. Put on a supertrapp which is a lot lighter than the stock exhaust and gives it a bit more pep plus it has a good note to it. Braided brake lines both ends and HH pads on the front. It's a good fun machine, have done a few whole day rides out to Gippsland direction where the roads are bendy 'n hilly and the traffic is light as well as many evenings after work just to be on 2 wheels . Never missed a beat or done me wrong. The one negative is cold starts, do it right or you'll be kicking for longer than you'd like. Not impossible just annoying. When it's warmed up it's one kick. Garrn u know u want one :)
