How does one remove side badges on fuel tank and side covers.
And would I reinstall with contact cement?
I wonder if they are glued on , should I cut them with an exacto knife?
    Any help would be appreciated...
    Alan

Warm them up with a hair dryer alittle bit to soften the glue and use a guitar string to cut the black mounting tape. Then clean them up and go to the auto parts store and pick up 3M mounting tape and apply to the back of your badges. Use an exacto knife to cut the excess tape around the edges.

Thank you, a small ceramic heater and dental floss worked quite well, I mostly used a small Olfa knife on the side cover badges and that worked well too.
