I have Replaced fork seals on the LH outer tube (2 times), but it's still leaking. I can feel the clearance is bigger on the the left than on the right (non leaking) between the inner tube and the bush (metal slide).
Question is now, is it possible to renew/renovate the bush?

i noticed mine showed ware too but it didn't seem to cause any problems. i was thinking of using "super glue" to add a layer of paper to the back of them to make them thicker but you would have to experiment to get the right thickness paper then saturate the paper with glue and it becomes fiber filled plastic.
    maybe chacal has new ones?

Hi , I noticed considerable wear on my LH upper bush as well when I refubed my forks on the xj650 The lower triple tree had been bent and not repaired, the forks just forced into position.Anyway ,it seems that they,re not listed in the parts diagrams. I just went along to a local bike suspension specialist, who had them on the shelf . It seems that they were a pretty standard sizing.

    Cheers ,Murray
