Battery in my SECA needs to be replaced. Can't seem to find one with the area for the sensor that my current battery has.

My current battery is an Everstart motorcycle battery. It has the 6 plugs in top , and a seperate threaded area for the sensor. Matching the numbers at WalMart, and I get an Everstart power sports battery that will work in motorcycles, but does not have the seperate threaded area for the sensor.

    Any opinions on battery options?

Your limited to the manufacturers that have the good graces to remember the sensor port on these things. Most do not have this port. The less desirable alternative is the folks that make a port using a cell cap. Yuasa is the only company I'm aware of that makes the correct setup. There are other manufacturers but I'm unaware of their names. Best of luck to you finding the correct arrangement.

Many people buy a regular battery and install a modification to bypass the computers battery warning light problem.

Here's a link to one such mod, or do a search on this site for other similar mods.
