Replacement Fork circlips/snap rings

    Midway through replacing seals and oil In my forks and I've run into an issue. One of my circlips that holds the seals down is beyond repair and I hate to have to place an order online for such a small and simple part. Anyone know how universal those are, or if replacements can easily be found or fabricated? Thanks

    I presume you have already discussed with Chacal/XJ4EVER

    Suppose you could take the other one to your local bearing shop but unlikely they would have something like that...

    That circlip is still in use on some 2014 Yamahas, and has been used on multiple models every year beginning in 1978.

    I'd suggest you check with your local Yammery.
