Since my 83 Turbo has 28K on the clock, and seeing as it's getting torn apart for a resto, is there room in the stock cylinders for an overbore? I'm hoping the rings arnt frozen in the cylinders but its been sitting outside (kinda covered by an overhang) for a few years, just pulled the plugs and tried gently turning it over in 5th, but it seems very stiff, didnt force it, going to dump a little mystery oil in the plug holes and let it sit overnight but prepping for the worst....

You can get several sizes of 'oversize' pistons but the cost is prohibitive, look for another mill.

There's plenty of cylinders on Ebay but how cost prohibitive are we talking?

PM Len = Chacal (xj4ever) he will have all the parts & prices, so you can make a decision.

I have a set of cyclinders and the matched pistons that were removed yesterday from my "running XJ". Just going bigger with Wiseco 1196 piston kit, also have another set of really nice cylinders. Just let me know if you're interested.
    Thanks
    Jamie
