    I have a 82 750 i just purchased I rode it home (not far) the issue is that I will only run with the chike on about half way even after warming up I am new to motorcycles I was wondering if anyone had some advice thank you

    same list as for every "new" old bike.

    check back brakes for delamination and front and back for wear
    clean carbs (likely your current problem)
    check valve clearances
    tune carbs (colortune and synch)
    check date codes on rubber (brake lines 4 years max & tires 6 years max)
    check air filter
    oil change w/ new filter

    Specifically, your idle - Pilot circuit is plugged, but you need to completely do the carbs anyway.

    +1 on tires and brakes, and complete service check-up.
