Rust help?!

    when it gets that bad, re-chroming or replacement is the only answer.

    you might be able to find some boneyard forks that are not rusted. or maybe pick up a parts bike and sell a few things on e-bay to cover your costs. good luck

    Dean; The fellas are right dude, those are toast. They MIGHT be able to be saved by rechroming but parts are so easy to find on eBay you can replace them for less than the cost of rechroming.

    A high quality chrome polish will help to make them less noticable until you come up with new ones. Its what I used on my headers and they look allright for now until you get up close.
    Actually it will make the domes on your carbs look like new again also.
