    Hey everyone,

As far as I know the Michigan carb clinic died in committee this year so far. I know it's already late in the summer but there are still a bunch of riding days left and we ought to have well-tuned bikes, right?

I don't have a garage, so all I can offer is help. I think I could take apart and put back together Hitachi carbs in my sleep.

(ps, I timed myself for a total tear down and put-back-together session, and I can do the whole thing, cleaning every part, in 2 hours. Beat that ;) )

Anyway, I haven't done as much colortuning and synching as I would like, but I want to get my bike in nice shape so I'd gladly help out if someone with those tools/garage wanted to participate. What do you say? Any takers? And anyone else who needs to get maintenance done?

    Sean

That would be awesome. I'm moving this weekend, but hopefully I will have time to work on my bike soon because I intend to commute on it! I might be able to do 9/11 or 9/12. Would either of those work for you?

That's ok. Let me know if you still want to do it sometime though. My bike could be running better.

I would be interested also. I'm new to the vintage bike game and can use all the help I can get.

This would be awesome I'd love to learn this stuff. Count me in for bringing my bike a chair and a case of beer.

I am both interested in this, and have a garage and tools. Unfortunately, I live in NC Ohio so the logistics are sometimes problematic. TBH my poor 550 has been languishing for a few years, but my aunt who bequeathed it to me has now passed away and so I have become determined to restore her to her former glory.
