This is for Oz riders only as I don't think they export overseas

I recently tried to buy some tank sealant and none of the bike shops had any. I ended up going to Capital Auto paint in Canberra. He sold me a great kit for $49.00! (I mistakenly bought the large kit for tanks up to 45 litres so the smaller one would be cheaper). Normally these kits are around $75.00 at the bike shops. By the way the one I bought is apparently far superior to Kreem and the other brands (some of which use MEK which is a nasty solvent that eats your paint). The KBS kit comes with the degreaser, rust converter and the sealant and even gloves. Most of the items are water based so are not harmful to paint. Highly recommended! (not an employee of KBS)

Emptying the tank of all liquids could be another thread on its own! What a hassle!

adrian, I have used the KBS on a good few tanks, if you follow the instructions & don't rush, it works out fine. If the tank has been sealed before, look for another tank.
One tank never worked out & the guy just sent me another kit FOC.

Try a search for POR15. its available as well, I got it here in QLD.
was living in Ipswich at the time, not quite a perfect finish, but likely I mucked it up a bit somehow, anyways just my 2c as I've heard others have sworn by it. reasonable price for the kit, was around $85 I think for all bits reqd.

Sorry only just re-read your post, ah well.
