Seat Lock Assembly for 1982 750 Yamaha Maxim?

    Hello All,

    My pin on my seat lock assemply on my 1982 750 Yamaha Maxim has worn out to where it will not lock the seat. The seat will snap into place fine, but anybody could now take my seat. The helmet lock still works though.

    Does anybody know if it is hard to find a seat lock assembly for this bike?

    Are there other "McGyver" type ways to keep the seat locked?

    You could always use the Red Green approach, after all if you can't duck it f#&k it.
