Does an one have any advice on bringing life back to a faded, but otherwise good, seat? I was originally thinking of swapping a different seat on, and am having second thoughts... the 750 Maxim is a pretty good looking bike as is, and I think I'd be perfectly happy with it's current seat were it returned to a like-new appearance.

Vinyl dye? Spray on? Any recommended brands or products? I don't want it bleeding onto my rear-end. :p

You can see what the seat currently looks like in my gallery.

Years ago we used to sell a vinyl dye that came in quart cans to restore faded car interiors. It was brushed on with a sponge-type applicator and worked much better than any of the spray on dyes. Unfortunately I cant remember who manufactured it, but I'm sure if you Google "vinyl dye" you can find some.
