    This may be a dumb ?, but would a seat from a maxim x be able to be fitted on my 83 750? Either way i am re-doing my seat for more comfort and love the looks of the x seats. Even though they look like 2 pieces its not far off from the same shape. Any body try this?

    I had my seat for one of my 550s recontoured and the "riding platform raised" (their term) plus a layer of "Atomic Foam" put in.

    Wowza. They also did a beautiful job on the "stock" re-cover for the other bike.

    They can do anything you can imagine and their workmanship is first-class.
