    Hey sorry to revive an old thread but did you get rid of this?

    my Seca came with no air box and some crap Harley mufflers and I’d love to replace it all

    Thank you, sir anyway. I am not sure as I thought I read here that the Seca 650 air box is different than the xj 650 air box but maybe someone can clarify that for me?

    North America got three distinct models of XJ650, the Seca, the Maxim, and the Turbo Seca.

    The Seca and Maxim used the same airbox. The Turbo Seca airbox is quite different.

    Excellent, thank you for the information. So any 81-83 maxim or Seca 650 only ( as in the 550’s and 750’s are different?) air box will fit an 82 Seca 650?
