So, in thinking about doing drag bars (just want to get my arms extended out a bit), it seems as though having the remote cylinder is a good thing in this situation.

The mirrors should work fine because even though the original bars are higher, they flatten out where the controls are, right?

Besides finding out what to do with slack, what are some of the complications in switching from a normal Seca 750 bar set up to drag bars?

I found that the switches hit the tank as well.

yep the mirrors will be fine

The 1 inch rise bars I put on my seca could just barely hit the tank so I added a bit of weld to the turn stop on the neck to fix it.

They put me into almost the exact same riding position as my brothers cb700sc which i love.

You will need to get step back bar risers or you will not be able to get the key in the barrle.

I have no idea what they are technically called as a friend of mine gave me them off a bike he got to build a bobber out of.

Thanks gents. I love the look. Seen them with 4" risers. But it seems like a TON of work. I think I will look into dirtbike bars as an alternative.

You don't need "dirt bike" bars, necessarily.

I have BikeMaster's "Euro" bend. They also make "GP Touring" "Superbike" and "Daytona" bends as well as clubmans and a whole bunch of other styles that you could choose from, in more "streetbike" suitable finishes (chrome or black.)

Do you have any interference issues with the Euro bars? They look to be just about right. Great price too.
