Hello all. I have an '83 Maxim that I am about finished rebuilding. I am looking to find a 4-2 exhaust system for the bike, but can only find 4-2's for Secas. As these are basically the same bike, are the two parts interchangable? if they wouldn't fit perfectly, what mods would I need to make to have the 4-2 Seca exhaust fit my Maxim (This is a 750).

Yes, I do believe it's an exact swap.
I had a 4-into-1 MAC system on my '82 750 Seca and just got done putting a stock 4-into-2 system, from an '82 650 Maxim on it. It fit like butter. The 650 and 750 are the same engine block and I believe the frame demensions are the same also. Alot of the Maxim parts fit on the 750 also. >PD<

The Seca750 & Maxim 750 are the same engine, so that'd bolt up with no problem, I imagine the pipe angle may be the same or close enough to be good enough, just the rear hangers might be the only thing different but I would think they would be easy to modify to fit.
