seca shocks

    I'm looking to change up the look of my maxim and wanted to put seca shocks on. would 550 seca shocks work on a 750 maxim? the shocks are 83 the maxim is 82.

    The shaft drive bikes have a different eyelet size on the bottom, and most likely, you are talking a different overall length, and spring rate too. Other than that- - yes.

    How about some new aftermarket shocks that actually work ??

    That was going to be my suggestion too. The stock shocks off an 83 550 Seca aren't going to work, and they weren't all that great to begin with.
