Are Seca Turbo forks compatible with Seca forks? Do they have the same brake mounts?

The reason I am asking is because the fork seals need to be replaced and the caps are stuck in the top of the forks (I did remove the clips and tried tapping them, but no luck). The caps have been pushed in a few millimeters, so the clips really are no longer doing anything and they've been soaked in wd40 for a few weeks now.

No they aren't. The rotor profiles are different. You pretty much have to swap the front end.

For the caps on your RJ, you could try hammering them in to create some room and then cleaning out the top of the fork above the cap with a dremel or similar to clear the way for the cap to come out.

I had a similar problem when I did my forks. I hammered the cap in and the spring force of the fork would return it and after a lot of back and forth the cap came out.

Good suggestions, also compress the shock to increase the pressure from the spring pushing up against the cap.

Be careful you don't have your face over top the cap while leaning on the fork! Don't ask me how I know this.

Loosen the top pinch bolts on the upper fork clamps. Had PO over tighen this bolt and the caps would not move.

Thank you! This worked perfectly, the caps are now moving.
