Hey Guys---I don't post on here much, only because I usually work 60-70 hours a week....that should change here soon I hope! And after a long winter I finally got around to doing a few things to the bike. I got a good deal on the R1 brackets, calipers w/master cylinder and rotors from Shawn here on the forum....and after a few extra parts ordered (stainless lines, ect) I had modern, 4 piston brakes that stop 10x better with 1 finger pullin' the handle.....I love it! You can see how close the calipers are to the wheel spokes....I like tight tolerances! I also totally rebuilt my forks with new oil and dust seals, and upgraded to progressive springs....the ride is MUCH better than before, as many other people have stated here. I've only rode about 10 miles since completion, and it's 50 degree weather w/rain this week :(

I am extremely happy with these upgrades, and I figured I'd share it with you guys......there are a few people out there with the LJ Seca who might consider this modification, It is totally worth it! The brackets were made by Mike O., the same guy who makes the spin-on filter adapters......I'm still waiting for him to email me back with a invoice for the filter adapter, but I know he's pretty busy himself....He makes great stuff!

Wow looks great. That is tight, isn't it? Who machined the mounting plates?
