What do you guys think about this cd version of an xj service manual? xj serviced cd

Does anyone own it? Is it better, worse, or about the same as haynes or chilton?

    Just thought I'd ask.

    Thanks

I don't recognize it, could be a fake for all I know. I'd E-mail him and ask him if this is a ripped CD. His add implies that it is "the" factory service manual and represents that it is the same as furnished to the dealer (this implies that it is official, correct me if I'm wrong). If it isn't a factory manual, you can bet he's pirating a CD (very common with the Flea-bay crowd). If he doesn't respond, pass on it. If he says yes and it isn't an offical copy, report his can! If it is a legitmate copy, review it and report your experience...

His account looks ok. Geez, 3000+ with only 4 negative in 12 months? Not bad odds.

Years back before my knowledge of the XJCD I purchased an ebay CD service manual for my bike, it was just a scanned copy of a Yamaha manual with most pictures too dark to see what they were describing.

My vote would be to pay for an original Yamaha paper manual or the XJCD.
