Hi, I had heard of a shim bank, in which shims can be swapped around- a search reveals nothing to me. Does such a thing still exist, or does everyone buy new nowadays?

    Thanks!

Brad Bowen has a shim pool, and so do I. He is in Vermont or somewhere over that way, and I am in the middle of NY. We both run ours pretty much the same way.

You check your clearances, check your shim measurements and do the math to determine what shims you need

Then you check with us to see if we have what you need

You send your shims along with $5.00 for mailing costs and when we receive it, your replacement shims go out to you.

Brad can fill you in more if you contact him. He may see this thread, too. If you can't reach him, PM me.
