With my 82 xj750 after I start it. If I take off the pos. wire from the battery. Should it stay running? OR shut off?

Cuz my bike shuts off when I do that... My buddy was like "Dude that isn't supposed to do that!!!"

    Thanx

Be very carefull doing that you rev it up a little and you will blow every bulb on the bike not good for tci coils ect. I was working on a maxim that has the inline fuse by the battery when you give it gas it would loose connection all the voltage spikes think you could see right thru someone the headlight gets so bright they it backfires and stalls usually takes out smaller bulbs first

On a car that's a way people used for checking the alternator. These bikes don't work the same way.

FYI I didn't mean to disconnect the pos. cable while the bike was running.. I had lost the terminal screw n had the cable "stuffed" in there... Then I hit the cable with my leg n it disconnected. I got a new screw n all is fixed :)
