Should these hoses be drawing a vacuum?

    Non California model XJ700N

    I know about the overflo/vent hoses that go between 1-2 and 3-4. I’m talking about the 4 hoses that connect just below the “hat” on each carb. I’m getting vacuum from all 4. It makes zero sense to me why it’d be letting air into a non filtered source.
