Hey guys, First I changed my stock rear signal lights to LEDS and they would not flash. Took fellow XJers advice and installed electronic flasher, and lights started flashing again. I decided to change my front sig lights to the same LEDS, and now I get the same problem. Everything lights up, but no flash. I know that I must not be getting enough output or whatever for the flasher to recognize it, in order for it to flash. So I pulled the bulbs from the original housings & wired them in with the new lights, and now they flash again. But I've got the extra tacky bulbs hanging there. I tucked them behind the headlight to keep them hid. Any ideas on how to make the flashers work without this tacky rigging? I know other guys that claim that after installing the electronic flasher, theirs worked. Thanks.

Is your flasher like this one? In order to run all LED's you need a flasher like this.

The standard electronic flashers rely on a ground connecton through the bulbs. You loose that connection with all LED bulbs.
You can also install a bypass resistor in place of the light bulb, I saw some at Autozone but I can't find them on the website.

No, I am using the EL-13 Tridon Slant. But I will probably get one of those, even though that is a little pricey. Thanks.

Will the Painless LED flasher plug in to my stock flasher plug? Is it 3 prong?

The good people at "Signal Dynamics" make a LED Conversion Module that allows you to run LED all over the Bike and KEEP the resistances needed for indicators and canceling units to still work like normal.

Hey Rick, This site looks great. Which one of the modules do I need to get?

Browse "Light Modules" "Brake Lights" etc.

I got the one that Flashes a trio of Red Led Strips 5 times ... every time you touch the Brake Lever.

I could have the Brake Light flash, too ... But, its a tungstun filament bulb. So, the Brake Light comes-on steady.

There are 4 or 5 Modules for Turn Signals and Having Rear Turn Signals come-on with the Brakes of Wig-wag when you decelerate.

    Lots of cool stuff.
