I painted my tank and misplaced the bolt that hooks the cap (the place where you fill the tank) to the tank. Does anybody happen to know the size of it? I dont want to wait or pay for shipping and I want to just pick one up at the hardware store.

You may not find it at the hardware store: M5 X 0.8, 9mm long phillips cap screw. But you have a 550, right? Which has Mikuni carbs. Do you have a spare carb hat screw? They're the same (I just went out in the garage and checked on my 550 Seca.)

PM me I can stick one in an envelope and drop it in the mail if you don't have a spare and can't find one.
