I am hoping somebody can answer this quickly as there is an auction ending soon. I have pods on my '82 XJ1100, which need replacing since they are pretty old, and wore out. I need to know the size, but cannot look at mine since it is in getting a new tire put on it. :?:

Thanks for the help, I am not really looking to spend that much right now. I can find pods similar to the ones I have for 35-40 for the set, and just need to know the size. I think it is 54mm, but cannot measure right now due to my bike being in the shop. I have found some that say they work on a few sites that say it should be 54MM, just trying to verify before buying.

the K & N filters are practically lifetime filters. u wash em out and re lube em with filter oil and reinstall every single time

Thanks for the help, however I do not know how long I will keep the bike, since it has the 2nd gear issue, and I really don't feel like I have the ability to take apart the tranny, and spending $160 instead of $35 because it will last longer is not a great argument right now. I have now got the mechanic to measure and it is indeed 54MM.
