My best friend Scott just bought me this for my b-day i thought it was great for small storage like a bottle of water, wallet, gps, or whatever you like to bring along when you ride so you don't need a full saddle bag or backpack for just a couple things. it is made by joe rocket and i think it is meant for a crotch rocket but fits my maxim very well i will add a pic on the bike when i have a chance if you want, it is soft underneath and attaches by magnets in each of the three ears, sorry if you have allready seen this i like to think that im not living under a rock but ive been wrong before!

Great bit of kit. What I like is that it's not permanent, (mags to the tank) what looks worse than a street bike going along like a mobile hat rack.

I've got one by Cortech that is quite similar, it's very handy.

I have a Joe Rocket tank bag as well. It's good for quick trips when you just need your wallet and camera, etc. Mine had a rain cover, briefly. The first time I put it on it ripped off within the first 10 miles down the road. I never bothered going back for it. Even in a real downpour the bag doesn't get very wet, sitting behind the fairing. Some day I'll probably configure up a new cover that has slots for the magnet "wings" to pass through, making it impossible to fall off.
