    Sold for $900 on CL.

    1982 Yamaha XS400R Seca. Really hate to sell it, but I need the cash for bills. Pretty much stock, rock solid reliability. Excellent starter bike. Light and quick, but very controllable. 18K miles. Paint is 2 years old, tires are 1 year old. Brakes are good. Fork seals are pretty new. Seat has been recovered. Get on and ride it home, nothing to stop you. Parallel twin with a close ratio 6 speed transmission. Tires are probably 80%. Top speed is about 103, will run highway speeds with no problem at all. I am 6', and I was about 190 when I got this bike, and it pulled me with no problem at all. I'm about 160 now, and it pulls even better.

    post it on advrider.com forums. There is a few people looking for one over there...keep an eye on it over there too as there is over 100 bikes listed daily...i think they let you bump it every 3-5 days

    You should have no problem getting at least $800 for it.

    I'd put it on Houston &College Station Craigslist as the time is right here for it.

    I'd also put it over on the Two Wheeled Texans classifieds.
