Some mods to my xj550 1982 with pics

    Took the carbs out and cleaned them for 5 hours.. Installed a fuel filter. Had fun with Mr. Sawzall and got the air box out because my pod filters are on the way.. Installed a breather for the engine oil... Installed carbon fiber mirrors/blinkers.. And got rid of that NASTY huge headlight.. Got my blinkers working finally (bad relay) and next thing to get rid of is that nasty banana seat and chop the rear frame/fender and front fender for the cafe look.. also got a new fuse box (ATC) on the way

    The only reason I posted a pic of the carbs is because I was proud! They were almost pure black from age
