Here you go, just getting some stuff off the camera finally; pics from PD13 itself.

I spent more time getting there, running the coast road, than I did at the "event" itself. It was worth every minute and every additional mile. I'll have more of those photos up in a couple of days...

But here you go, a bit of the insanity with a couple of XJs to begin:

Personally, I had more fun TOURING...

It was a pleasure meeting you and hope to do it again when I have my bike on the road. Looks like you had a good trip and enjoyed yourself. Next year Friday the 13th is in May so that will probably be a quite one. But if the weather is warmer than usual it could be one of the better ones. Less organized usually means better day. In 2012 we have Friday the 13th in January, April, and July.
Great pics where was the last one taken?

Same here my friend! It was a pleasure to meet you and your lovely bride. What a spot you have! (My beer mission turned out better than planned; PM sent. I beeped when I went back by...)

That last pic with the "boiling surf" was taken down at Port Glasgow, before I cut NW Saturday midday. There were a couple of thunderstorms in the area and the lake was pretty upset about it; too bad I couldn't capture the SOUND it was fantastic. I had to sit and have an Ex and listen to the surf.

I just put up some more pics from my weekend in the "Eastern US and Canada" forum.

WHAT A RIDE. Best in years, without equal.

Thanks again to all our Canadian neighbors; the hospitality was, as usual, nearly overwhelming. Ever time I stopped to visit the shady side of a tree or make a wardrobe adjustment, somebody stopped to make sure I wasn't broken down or to offer (much needed, more than once) directions.

Good pics Fitz - glad you got in for a gander around. Looks like it calmed down nicely for when you got there. The crowd, bikes, and traffic are about 1/2 what it was earlier in the afternoon!

After the 20 minute wait just to get in to dover (past the welcome to dover sign) We saw this nice line that just never ended...

This was the oldest Yammy I saw sitting in Timmies when I strolled around...

Thanks man. So do I, so do I. Well worth the year it took me putting it together. Runs and rides like a brand new bike. Better, actually.

Absolutely perfect solo transportation device no matter where you want to go. Smooth, quiet, run 70 all day and never get tired. Me or the bike.

It IS an XJ after all.

Bigfitz52 heard you honk when you went by. I was out at the truck.
When I was putting the bike away some old guy, on an old Yamaha no model name or markings, stopped and wanted to buy it. I said noway!
Next time you are up this way we should make it a longer stop and I'll lock up my killer dog! She hates everyone. Just let me know ahead of time. Hunting season is comming up and I'll be away a lot this fall.
