I don't know if anybody has ran into this. I was going to replace spark plugs on the 750 and noticed that the old and new spark plugs NGK had the same number stamped (BP7ES) but one has a thinner top than the other one.

The old ones' top looks like the tip of a screw and the new ones are thicker.

On this picture you can see the difference between the actual plug and the one on the picture in the box.

The spark plug wires did not seem to like the new ones because they are a lot thicker, am I missing something here?

I remember staring at my plugs for a while the first time I ran into that and then going what the heck lets see if this comes off, and it did.

I'm telling you, being a motorcycle newbie is painful. Between that and feeling like I am just collecting stuff with nothing to ride is getting old.

You have chalked-up one of Motorcycling's "Rite of Passages".

If you save enough of those Plug Tips, ... you can run a Rubber Band through them and make a nice bracelet.

Eco, after all you've been through, you don't qualify as a newbie. Even the Wizs have noob moments tho.
